These severe storms have pushed through the midwest over the past 24 hours (2/28 and 2/29/2012)..

SEVERE damage from Tornadoes, hail, damaging winds, strong cell thunderstorms, and even flash flooding has occurred.

Take heed the warnings issued for your area (if a warning has been issued).

From the Pacific northwest (oregon/washington state).. through the midwest … Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Arkansas …. through the southeast … Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida….. we are seeing severe weather, strong thunderstorms, damaging winds, hail, and confirmed tornadoes on the ground (in the midwest for sure).

Watch the south and southeast.. also watch the NORTH USA — Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois.

The central south is also under a severe threat due to the HAARP ring and Scalar square outbreak occurring. Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky — watch these areas for the next 24-48 hours for possible severe weather — tornadoes, damaging winds, and hail. Pay particular attention to North/Central Kentucky (where the scalar square epicenter was located)

This is shaping up to be what we call (here in missouri) a “hot mess”. This low pressure system is pulling up the right amount of warm moist air from the Gulf of Mexico, mixing it with the cold northern air — producing these severe cells…. it does NOT help that another huge low pressure system is coming ashore on the west coast (oregon/washington) at the same time.

The combination of the two will produce back to back severe outbreaks.

If you live in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin — and even near south central Canada (thunder bay for instance)… be alert of this outbreak of severe weather.

Tornadoes, damaging winds and hail are detected and reported  — the National Weather Service has issued multiple warnings spanning multiple states:

If you live in Omaha Nebraska — its not too late to make preparations.. tornadoes damaging winds and hail are coming out of north central Kansas (north of Manhattan) heading towards the general area of Omaha Nebraska .

This line of storms has verified tornadoes detected by the NWS (issued alerts already) — also two states worth of tornado watches (keep on the lookout for possible tornadoes to develop).

Further north in Nebraska , Minnesota , and Wisconsin, we’re seeing damaging winds, and Hail detected — possible tornadic development may occur within these storms as well.

In the pacific northwest — washington state, and oregon — we’re seeing strong cell thunderstorms, and damaging winds detected.
In the southEAST USA.. Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia .. we are seeing the stage be set for possible severe to occur late tonight into tomorrow after noon (2/29/2012).

Overall.. the West, Central, North, and South USA are under some kind of severe weather currently.  Be safe and heed warnings issued for your particular area.

2/28/2012 — Threat of a LARGE earthquake looming in Asia — Taiwan, through Japan to Alaska

The signs of unrest are showing — volcanic activity increasing (just like last year before the Japanese massive earthquake) …. global earthquake swarm activity showing obvious signs (again like last year)… and now we’re seeing a localized 5.0M+ earthquake swarm in and around Japan proper (just like last year as well).

Put that all together, and you get a REAL POSSIBILITY of another large earthquake off the coast of Japan …. soon (weeks not months)

All areas around the ring of fire, all areas that are KNOWN earthquake prone.. and all areas that ARE NOT earthquake prone… all these areas where people reside — you need to have a plan and be prepared. We’re going to be seeing earthquakes occur in places that don’t normally see much earthquake activity ….

Areas like Canada, the northeast USA , midwest and south USA —– areas like Central Europe , France, Germany, England, Belgium, Netherlands — be alert as well.

Russia, China, India —- BE ON HIGH ALERT — the whole area of Russia/China/India is also showing movement and buildup (the recent 6.8M in siberia for instance plus DOZENS of 5.0M+).

North american Craton as well — states of Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and the entire area of New England (connecticut, delaware, maryland, new york, pennsylvania, new jersey, washington DC, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and Ohio (several more states are included in the outskirts of the main craton edge — basically this puts the ENTIRE USA under a potential earthquake threat in the near term (weeks).

If the activity dies down over the next few weeks, we can all take a deep sigh of relief.. but until things calm down globally.. THE TIME TO PREPARE WAS YESTERDAY !!!! Get your plans together… food, water, clothing, communication, transportation, and self defense … know the plan and be ready (just in case).

2/27/2012 — Series of LARGE eruptions at Sakurajima Volcano – Japan

Things are for sure ramping up — the activity is currently on an increase, globally — which means we will see larger eruptions from already active volcanoes such as this one in south Japan… also other sites.. dormant and inactive volcanic areas — watch for earthquake activity.

This volcano has been on elevated alert since the middle of last year (2011) for the threat of a VERY large eruption with multiple km pyroclastic flows.

If these eruptions continue to increase in size.. we may see the ‘big one’ the professionals are predicting.

The global unrest is picking up in pace, please be aware, and have an earthquake preparedness plan in place — (just in case this activity spills over to more populated areas)
