Hey there dutch.. I know you have one of the radiation counters from before they calibrated them after the Japan Earthquake in 2011. I would buy one, but i suspect i will not get a true reading…. SOOO ,lol…. I know you work hard, and, you and your wife should take a holiday here to Vancouver Island in BC Canada, so you can enjoy our West Coast …. TOFINO to be exact ! You can check the radiation Levels of the Debris starting to come ashore on our west coast of the island. It is a wonderful idea if you can manage the cost… Heck, you could stay at our place for free to help with the cost of the trip. We are in Nanaimo BC. and it’s hard to find people that do the same kind of monitoring that you provide the community. I really enjoy your work and dedication to us , the people, and your family and friends. Your accuracy is amazing ! Please think about it …If you can …Please let us know somehow. or if this is not fees able…..do you know someone up here in Canada who has a Geiger Counter that has not been re-calibrated to the ” NEW ” calibration ?
