3/2/2013 -- New High Quality Earthquake 3D Global Orthographic skin

If you have the full version of Earthquake 3D — you can change the ‘skin’ around planet Earth by going into the options and selecting a new “.tga” file.

I don’t know how much longer earthquake3D will be working, since the USGS is doing away with their RSS feeds which provides this program its information…

I found this NOAA version, which beats the NASA version, and the USGS by far — both of which are lower resolution.

Seeing since its higher quality,  I made the NOAA map into a workable .tga for EQ3D !
