Just like back in February and March of LAST YEAR .. 2011 .. we saw a noticeable earthquake swarm in Hawaii… followed by Pu’u O’o volcano having its entire dome collapse and contents empty over the course of days/weeks onto the Hawaiian countryside — through fissures which opened around the volcanoes perimeter…

If you live in Hawaii.. be prepared for either more noteworthy earthquakes OR the possibility of another Pu’u’ O’o’ type situation that may arise in the near term .. (weeks).

A very large filament rupture — producing a non-earth directed CME (coronal mass ejection) — this one is fairly large — and in the next two days we will see the whole high resolution image come through.

Reports of a censored earthquake came to me today — from a few different viewers who saw the USGS knock a Virginia / West Virginia earthquake off the map.

With a little sleuth work , and some LUCK that the other feed wasn’t yet censored — I was able to track down the approximate epicenter of this quake based upon the helicorder signatures at each ANSS backbone station.

Heaviest shaking occurred in Florida, South/North Carolina!

Having quieted off as of lately — this volcano shows spectacular eruptions on a daily or semi-daily basis.

Again , we see a large eruption of lava , ash , and rock. The slope of the mountain has built up hundreds of feet this past year… and continues to do so.. Also the second plume of steam coming from the back side of the mountain continues (2nd vent forming possibly?)

The low pressure system which pressed severe weather across the south USA today (2/18/2012) — has now formed a 2nd line of storms behind the original storm front (which is now moving eastward over Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama.)

Hopefully the first front of storms cooled things down enough to lessen the blow of this low pressure system as it turns north east — but the current line of storms breaking out in Texas/Louisiana/Arkansas leads me to think this will break out into ANOTHER line of damaging winds further north —- in Arkansas, Tennessee, and AGAIN in louisiana / mississippi.

Be aware that the first line of storms today is not the end of this system .
