5/15/2012 — Severe Weather — TX LA MS FL GA SC NC VA — Next storm over Pacific

video update here:

use the links here to monitor the severe weather (hail, damaging winds, and strong cell thunderstorms):

States of Texas, Lousiana, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina currently have hail, damaging winds, and severe thunderstorm warnings issued.

Watch Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida over the next 24 hours as the system from Texas pushes due east along the coast and into the southeast USA.

Also watch Virginia possibly — hail, or damaging winds w/ strong cell thunderstorms — as the system currently in South / North Carolina pushes East-Northeast.

Off the west coast — currently even latitude with California — we see another fairly strong low pressure system being “seeded” with some form of aerosol. Watch as this storm pushes east southeast.. then east (or East northeast) .. this will move more quickly when it hits the southern push of the jet stream split down over Mexico.

Which means, when the storm out west finally comes ashore, and moves to the southwest/midwest .. we may see additional severe weather develop in several days (up to 4 or 5 most likely).

  1. I don’t know if it’s due to anything in the electromagnetic s… but, we had a period from about 5:50pm-6:20pm where the TV signal was out on every channel here. Which we found very odd and we are in the lower central, eastern part of Missouri slightly North of Springfield. We have NO cable and use a home-made HD antenna to receive local channels which we get about 9 channels normally and during that time period we had zip.. there was zero signal received.

I wonder if it happened anywhere else?
