11/29/2013 — Multiple Texas Fracking Earthquakes in one 24 hour period

The midwest unrest is ongoing.

Previously, we were seeing earthquake swarms in Oklahoma, which began spilling over to North Texas via a few small 1.0M and 2.0M earthquakes. Now, we see North Texas having its own earthquake swarm of upper 2.0M and upper 3.0M events.

This could build into another series of 4.0M (or greater) events in the near term.

If you’re curious about PAST movement, which led to this current swarm, see all my past posts on the topic of “fracking earthquakes” here:

First, see the double earthquakes 3.7M and 2.8M, occurring at the same injection / pumping / frack operation, the same day..

11/27/2013 — Cyclone “LEHAR” downgraded to Tropical Storm after rapid cooling

Yesterday, November 26th 2013 , Cyclone “LEHAR” went through a series of rapid bursts of massive downpours near the center of the storm.

Seen in this .gif animation below :

lehar nov 27 aaaaaaaaaa

Directly following this large outburst of energy , the storms intensity quickly diminished , due to the rapid cooling at surface level caused by large amounts of cool precipitation falling upon the warm surface waters beneath the storm.

The warm surface waters , normally lead a path for the storm to follow, providing all the energy necessary for heated surface convection (warm humid rising air caused by warm waters).

The result of the massive deluge of rain seen above…. can be seen below.. the storms power was cut off.

This morphed microwave animation below shows the last 24 hours of the storm… again, you can see the storms center experience a large amount of concentrated precipitation , followed by the storm losing at least HALF of its overall strength in just a few hours.

LUCKILY, this all happened just before making landfall in Eastern Central India. Good news for an area which is still recovering from Super Cyclone Phailin.

Below are three animations…

First we see “Lehar” as it came into the Indian Ocean (Bay of Bengal), still a tropical storm at this point:

Then , after the storm began traveling West towards India, it began to mushroom at the center, producing extreme amounts of precipitation, rivaling even the largest Super-Cyclone/Typhoon over the past several months (make note of the color key below the picture (the storm going into black towards the very center).

It was elevated to a Category 2, borderline Category 3:

The storm then continued further West, and continued the massive precipitation generation at the center:

The final result, the storm went from a Category 2 Cyclone, to a weak tropical storm, in a matter of one day.

After seeing the above take place, I’m reminded of this !

11/25/2013 — “LEHAR” upgraded to Cyclone status — Heading towards India (strengthens)

Made a post on this yesterday, as the storm was still in “Tropical Storm” status.

Now, upgraded to a Category 1 Cyclone, forecast to develop at least into a Category 2 (as of 4pm CT Nov. 25, 2013).

Cyclone “LEHAR” is currently showing a stronger / brighter center than the previous Super Cyclone “PHAILIN”, when it formed, however the eye of “LEHAR” is not yet developed enough to be seen through yet.

lehar nov 25 screenshot

A very bright center, this early on during the storms development…….this is slightly good news actually, since the heavy rains at the center of the storm (now) could lead to a cooling of the storm overall, thus decreasing its overall strength.

Right now, however, the center of the storm is showing bright whites (above the black/grey), indicating massive rains, and wind at the center.

11/25/2013 — ANOTHER Cyclone heading towards India — “LEHAR” forecast to strengthen

Another Tropical System has formed coming off of East Asia.. heading Westward into the Indian Ocean.  Already a named storm, called “Lehar”.

Currently at “tropical storm” status, forecast to build into at least a Category 3 Cyclone on its way West towards the Eastern coast of India.  May make landfall along the same path as Super Typhoon “Phailin”, which made landfall several weeks ago.

Current forecasts show the storm weakening slightly before landfall.  However, currently “Lehar” is getting stronger.
