Over the past 7 days, we’ve seen a noticeable increase in large earthquake activity internationally, as well as an increase in moderate earthquakes (4.0M+ to 5.0M+) across the United States.
This screenshot tells the tale of the most recent large scale unrest.

Above: June 29, 2014 – Past 7 days of 6.0M+ earthquakes globally. Several downgraded from their originally recorded strength. Clearly the Pacific plate undergoing another unrest event.
Over the past week, up to June 29th 2014, we’ve seen one 8.0M event (with tsunami), and three 7.0M+ events, as well as six different 6.0M+ events around the Pacific Plate. Just one lone 7.0M event in the Atlantic (South Sandwich Islands).

Above: June 23, 2014 8.0M earthquake, and multiple 6.0M+ events in Alaska and New Zealand along virtually the same longitude
The moderate movement in the United States also picking up pace, multiple 2.0M+, 3.0M+, 4.0M+ earthquakes, as well as the 5.2M in Arizona.

Above: June 29, 2014 (845pm CDT) – Past 7 days of earthquakes 2.9M and greater in the continental United States shows the Western edge of the craton under pressure from the Pacific plate stress
