10/22/2014 — Another X-Class Solar Flare — Active Region 12192 going strong

A new X-class solar flare has occurred on the Earth facing side of the Sun.

Solar Active Region 12192 , has now produced 2 X-class flares, and SIX M-class flares over the past 4 days.
