1/21/2015 — New MASSIVE lava flow in Hawaii being ignored by officials — Why?!

Why would officials downplay, and deliberately ignore an obvious large outbreak of lava flowing from Pu’u O’o in Hawaii?

Above: (Left) screenshot of the USGS saying all is quiet on the front (true) while leaving out the huge outbreak of lava (seen in the 6 pictures on the right from the most recent helicopter flyover). Obviously the USGS and civil defense are leaving this new development out of their reports. Why omit this development?

See the outbreak for yourself, then listen to the civil defense update… and THEN read the USGS post made today basically saying all is quiet on the outbreak front (which is true), then they skip over the obvious huge new flow captured on helicopter flyover.

Here is the most recent flyover as of January 19-20 2015:

Here is another version  from today, January 21 2015 with their own music added and multiple distant views showing the new large flow:

Here is a close up HD view of the new up slope flow from January 18th 2015:

Now that you’ve seen the actual activity evidence yourself (in the above recent videos),  be sure to listen to the civil defense update issued the same day as this flyover was done!

Civil defense saying everything is stalled, with no new developments in the flow!

Do they not have access to the helicopter views?  How could they NOT know?  How could the USGS leave the new flow up slope out of their most recent update?

Below is the USGS update issued today (January 21 2015) , after I put out the flyover video, the USGS responded with this post saying everything is calm on the flow front.

Technically this is true, the flow front has stalled.  However, the truth is that 1.5 – 2 miles up slope, a new outbreak has occurred that is fairly large (as seen in the above videos and screenshots).

USGS being deliberately oblivious.  Civil Defense not giving the public information that is clearly available to them.

Sluggish activity at leading tip of the flow

The leading tip of the most distal active portion of the June 27th lava flow remains active, but consists of small, sluggish breakouts that have not advanced a significant distance during the past two days. The leading tip of the flow remains approximately 600 meters (0.4 miles) from Highway 130.
