_________

You might be asking “why is it troubling to see a deep 6.2M in the West Pacific”?

The answer resides in what follows the deep movement.

Each time we see deep 4.0M+ earthquakes, we usually seen shallow movement nearby in the 6.0M range.  Each time we see deep 5.0M earthquakes, we usually see shallow movement nearby in the 7.0M range.

In the past , each time we see deep earthquakes in the 6.0M+ range, we usually see shallow 8.0M+ events nearby the deep epicenters.

I hope , in this instance, that the past events will not dictate this events future.
