ANOTHER 7.2 magnitude (6.8M revised) earthquake has struck the West Pacific in Papua New Guinea.
This makes TWO large earthquakes in the area within less than 24 hours.
I was in the middle of recording a new earthquake forecast when this struck , and you’ll hear the moment it hit as I was recording… I’ll leave in the reaction I had unedited.
Will upload the whole new forecast video (along with this 7.2M / 6.8M striking while recording over on my youtube channel. The video is nearly 30 minutes long 🙂 Will be done processing up in HD soon. (517am CDT now)
This area was forecast for large earthquake movement on April 28 2015.
On April 28, 2015 the earthquake forecast issued a warning for a coming large earthquake for this region specifically. Directly called for near 7.0M earthquake activity.
Here is the video from April 28th warning Papua New Guinea: (Talking about Papua New Guinea at approximately the 15min mark)
The subsequent follow up earthquake warning was issued DIRECTLY for this area on April 28th via my facebook page, and the magnitude forecast to hit was to be in the 7.0 – 8.0 range.
The reason a 7.0 range earthquake was forecast was due to the deep asthenosphere 6.2M earthquake which occurred 1,000 miles East in Fiji 2 days prior.
Here is my warning for Papua New Guinea on April 28th:
I issued these two graphics on April 25th + April 28, 2015 showing the deep earthquakes, and the area to watch to the NW of the deep earthquakes (Papua New Guinea).
As I said in the Papua New Guinea forecast video.. 6.2M deep earthquakes lead to shallow 8.0M-9.0M earthquakes. Now TWO near 7.0M earthquakes strike the same area same day.
The 6.2M deep earthquake was followed by a 6.8M event , and 7.2M (6.8M revised) event in the area NW of the deep earthquake within 5 days of the deep earthquake.
Quote the warning issued TWO FULL DAYS AGO:
“The deep asthenosphere earthquakes (indicated by raised markers off the globle) show us that there SHOULD be shallow larger movement occurring in a nearby adjacent ( between ) area to the deep earthquake activity we see in Fiji and Central Indonesia.
Look to the currently SILENT areas for the shallow larger movement. The forecast times still stand from the April 24th forecast.. we still have 4 days to go in the watch zones.
I’ve added the colored box areas over the watch zones … notice each area has been “silent” for the past 48 hours, which is highly unusual in light of the normal earthquake activity there being MUCH higher.
The earthquake to the West in Nepal is NOT robbing pressure away from the Pacific, thus these silent areas in the West Pacific… Japan, to Taiwan to Guam.. and Papua New Guinea certainly must be under serious stress………. in light of the deep earthquakes which have also occurred, each deep event measuring in the 4.7M range at a depth of about 300+ miles…..
As we have seen in the past upper 4.0M earthquakes at a deep level end up causing mid-range 6.0M+ events at a shallow level above and in an adjacent area.
Expect shallow large movement in the area between the two deep earthquakes, and the area NW of the deep earthquakes. Ironically this falls in the silent areas we already know to be primed for movement.”
Finally, I issued a website post warning Papua New Guinea for a coming large earthquake.
