After multiple days of volcanic related earthquake unrest in the Southwest + Western United States (Arizona, Utah, California, and Oregon), now we see that a magnitude 2.7 earthquake has struck close to the well known Mount Saint Helens volcano in Washington State.
This earthquake near Mount Saint Helens is proof that volcanic unrest is taking place.
As if we needed any more proof of volcanic related seismic unrest, seeing seismic movement between the Markagunt Volcanic Plateau , the Uinkaret Volcanic Fields, the San Francisco Valley – Sunset Crater volcanic complex in Arizona, Volcano Peak in Southern California, Salton Sea volcano at the California / Mexico Border, and of course the Oregon earthquake swarm near the large undersea volcano —- ALL SHOWING ACTIVITY THIS PAST WEEK (7 days up to June 4th 2015)
All the volcanic related seismic unrest is pointing towards building stress in the region. The building stress is causing dormant volcanoes to show activity, including steam plumes occurring yesterday at Sunset Craters in Arizona.
