After a M7.0 struck the mid-Atlantic ridge a few days ago, a new round of earthquake unrest has begun to brew around the Pacific plate (yet once again).
Now a noteworthy magnitude 6.4 earthquake has struck along the shores of South Chile.
Notice both earthquakes fall almost along the exact same latitude… (35-36 degrees South Latitude).
