8/14/2015 — Rare New Jersey / New York Earthquake — Craton edge displacement obvious

A very rare M2.5 earthquake struck the East coast in New Jersey , just a few miles West of metropolitan New York City.

The earthquake epicenter was below a residential subdivision between Bernardsville + Mendham New Jersey.

________

New York , New England, and the East coast were areas of focus in the most recent earthquake forecasts.

The earthquake forecasts called for “booms and rumbles” to strike the region surrounding New Jersey.

A M2.5 certainly qualifies for both a boom or rumble.  Most likely felt by locals in the immediate area as a boom, or explosion.

________

Overall, this activity comes after several days of craton edge movement.  New earthquakes at the Texas fracking operations, and multiple swarms at volcanic locations along the West coast of the United States point towards the plate edge being fully displaced this past week.

As we have seen in the past, when the plate is displaced on the West coast, we then see the midwest move, followed finally by the East coast.

Plate movement from the NW to the South, which then pushes the plate edge towards the NE — causing earthquakes along the way.

8/13/2015 — ANOTHER Volcanic Earthquake on West Coast — NW Nevada BLOWOUT MOUNTAIN

Five days ago (August 8, 2015) an earthquake forecast warning was issued for possible M4.0 earthquake activity to strike Northwest Nevada.

Northwest Nevada has now been struck by a M4.2 earthquake in the exact area warned, the location near Bitner Butte, and Blowout Mountain.

_______

The earthquake forecast issued August 8, 2015 covered the area of NW Nevada in detail, and and it covered the reasons why the region was expected to show movement.

Summed up, renewed craton pressure (coming from the West / Northwest) has displaced the North American plate, causing magma chambers on long dormant volcanic complexes to be slightly displaced.

This incoming pressure causes seismic activity to develop near dormant volcanoes, and oil/gas pumping operations. This movement in Nevada comes at the same time we’re seeing activity at the fracking operations in Texas.

We still have 2 full days left to go in the earthquake watch time period.

8/12/2015 — Volcanic Earthquake strikes NW Nevada — M3.7 near Soda Lakes Volcanic complex

Four days ago (August 8, 2015) an earthquake forecast warning was issued for possible M4.0 earthquake activity to strike Northwest Nevada.

Northwest Nevada has now been struck by a M3.7 earthquake — a few miles North of Soda Lakes Volcanic complex, and a few miles South of Black Mountain dormant volcanic buttes.

8/12/2015 — ANOTHER fracking earthquake strikes Texas — TWO events in 1 day — Craton under pressure

This morning a M2.7 earthquake struck near a Dallas Texas fracking operation after a period of silence lasting near a month.

Today (this afternoon August 12) a new M3.0 earthquake has now struck Southwest Texas.  The earthquake epicenter is near another fracking operation located a few miles NW of Fort Stockton, TX.

______

The earthquake forecast issued on August 8, 2015 fully covered the Texas region.

Now we see TWO different areas in Texas show rare earthquake activity, both in the same day!

This overall (new) Texas seismic activity was forecast to occur based upon the incoming craton pressure from the West coast / Pacific plate.
